Whole goat carcasses must be picked up directly from the Hamburg Locker.  These may not be available year round depending on the growth stages of our meat kids.  Depending on slaughter schedule at the locker, wait time for a whole goat may be up to three weeks. 

Typically our whole goat carcass weights range from 25 to 40 lbs, depending on growth stage of the kids at the time of order.  

Price of a whole goat is $15/lb for the hanging weight when the goat is put on the rail and into the cooler at the locker.  Expect a small amount of shrinkage as the goat hangs in the cooler.  

If you would like to order a whole uncut goat carcass please place your order as you would for anything else on our site.  At the time you place your order, contact us in the "Contact" section and let us know when you would like to pick up.  We will contact you and confirm a pick up date and you will be billed at that time.

Delivery Schedule

Orders must be received by noon on Monday before shipping day or they will be shipped on the next scheduled ship date.

We ship on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. Below is our current schedule for the next few ship dates:

July 22

August 11 and 25

September 15 and 29

October 13 and 27

If you have placed an order and received a confirmation of shipping date, your order will be shipped on that date. Future dates are planned shipping dates, however they are subject to change to fit our schedule if necessary.

Shipping

Orders are shipped in reusable insulated coolers with dry ice, gel packs, or both depending on the shipping zone and time of year. We ship on the 2nd and 4th Tuedsays of each month. This ensures that all three shipping zones will receive orders during the week, with zone 3 orders received on Friday.

We try to keep shipping rates as low as possible by offering a flat $25 rate on all orders as well as free shipping for orders over $350.

We do not offer shipping to zone 4, Alaska, Hawaii, or outside the US.
